The competition pool will be shut down from August 5 - September 2, 2022. The reason for the extended closure this year is the replacement of the white coat for the entire pool, which is the same work that was conducted on our leisure pool in the spring. This replacement is much needed and several years overdue, so we appreciate your understanding and patience as we move forward with the completion of this project.
During the closure, we have a reciprocity agreement with Freedom Aquatic and Fitness Center located at 9100 Freedom Center Blvd, Manassas, VA 20110. Please bring your WARF key fob or pass with you for each visit. They ask that you arrive a few minutes early to be entered into the guest module of their membership software and present your WARF membership and I.D. They’ll require both for entry. After being entered into their software, you’ll need to check in each visit and present your WARF credentials. Also, please check their website at http://www.freedom-center.com/ daily for pool availability -- specifically their Leisure Pool and Spa since operating hours may differ daily. Additionally, their annual maintenance closure will be from August 29 - September 5, 2022. WARF members will be able to use their facility from August 5 - August 28. Their pools, gymnasium, and indoor track at Freedom Center will also be closed on August 27 and 28.
We will be opening the WARF lazy river and spa beginning at 5 AM, Monday-Friday, for water walking and classes. We are working with our instructors and will be offering a modified aqua fitness schedule for the month of August. More details to come in the few weeks.
