Street Closures for Monday, June 17, 2019:
Broadview Avenue - Miller Pipeline will be working on the Pizza Hut side from Pizza Hut to Gold Cup Drive. The right lane will be closed with all traffic merging to the left lane. Flaggers and signage will be in place as needed. Please use caution if in this area, or avoid, if possible.
James Madison Highway - Superior Paving will be milling and asphalt paving James Madison Highway in front of Walmart to the southern Town boundary on Monday, June 17. The work is expected to begin around 9:00 p.m. and will continue until 6:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 18, 2019. Flaggers and signage will be in place. Please use caution if in this area, or avoid, if possible.
Sewer System Rehabilitation - *UPDATE*
During the month of May, a contractor for the Town of Warrenton (BLD) will be sealing the sewer lateral connections on all of the sewer mains that were recently relined in the Rady Basin. This will further reduce inflow and infiltration where the house lateral connects with the Town's sewer mains. (See graphic below).
Please keep all commode lids closed. The cleaning process prior to the lateral sealing sometimes
causes water to splash from commodes.
For questions, concerns or complaints, contact Larry K. Oliver with the Public Utilities Department at
